TITLE : The Story of the Crisis in Palestine

Alhamdulillah, the talk by the first speaker, Ukhti Noriah was on the History of Palestine - understanding of the history & how it all began. She elaborated on the history from the Islamic perspective , since the time of prophet Abraham through to his descendants who first came to Jerusalem.

"Bani Israel" was tested by Allah & had proven to be disobedient & unfaithful to their leaders. Allah had cursed them twice as mentioned in the Qur'an.The crisis of the holy land of Palestine was started by the European Jews with Zionist ideology.

I continued with "Palestine the land of peace & prosperity" under the rule of the Islamic leaders.(A video was shown on how beautiful & peaceful this land was !) .They were shown how Palestine was later divided into two states. The British Mandate lead to further confiscation of Palestinian land by the Zionists.

This was followed by The Arab-Israel war and The OSLO agreement which had put the entire Arab-Muslim world under shame! This had caused the Palestinians to be in the state of catastrophic human disaster!....the apartheid wall..the GAZA Blockade ...purely dramatic humanitarian crisis! Last but not least,recommendations were put forward on how to address the issue.
During the Q&A session, a brother from Malawi stood up & shared his opinion & thanked PACE for giving a clear overview on the Palestinian crisis.He was concerned about his fellow Muslims back home & wished we could be of further assistance in providing information for him to bring back to his country. We promised to further discuss his concern on another date.

Brother Mustafa from the Ma'aruf club suggested that we work together with the "Rabbi" group who had made strong protests against the Palestinian Oppression.
The talk was also attended by Ukhti Che Zainon Embong (JIM Gombak) & Ukhti Azian Arifin (JIM Ampang Jaya).We had a good round table discussion after the talk with the committee members of Maaruf Club,IIUM. InsyaAllah there will be more talks in the pipeline.
