Berbuka puasa bersama 64 buah keluarga dan 448 orang umat Islam di Afghanistan yang terdiri daripada anak yatim, keluarga fakir dan miskin serta pelajar kurang upaya di Islamic Centre (Madrassa) di Kabul City
Pelaksanaan projek:
HAS has extensive experience in implementing such projects. Based on its experimental background an executive committee for the implementation of Ramadan 1430 program was formed. The Iftar execution committee was formed from 5 persons. HAS’ senior program coordinator, Logistic officer, accountant, program assistant and relief program officer were members of the mentioned committees.
The Iftar execution committee first of all conducted a brief survey for finding the neediest people, as the result of their survey they selected one place for “Food Packages Distribution” program.
The Iftar (food packages distribution) program was implemented in a Masjid (Mosque) next to a Women Islamic centre (Madrassa). In the proposal which we have already submitted to our kind donor (JIM) the price of one package consist of 7 food items were calculated 38 USD but due to high number of needy families the executive committee decided to prepare the food packages on the price of 28 USD which will have six items. Therefore, a total number of 64 food packages were prepared for 64 benefiting families with the average number of 448 needy individuals and these families were identified through executive committee the Ramadan 1430 program. One day before distribution (on September 13, 2009), food items were purchased and packed and also tokens were distributed for 64 entitled destitute family and they were requested to come one day later to the appointed Masjid in district 4th of Kabul city. The implementation is completed in a smooth and best manner. The information was shared with beneficiaries regarding the Kind Donor “Jamaah Islah Malysia” and they appreciated theire Muslim brothers and sisters in Malysia for their cooperation and support and prayed for them.
The Executive committee prepared 64 packages for Iftar program (Food Packages Distribution Project). Every food package was distributed per one family of destitute people and every package was consisted of following food items:
